In 2024 the Slovak Bishops' Conference presented a report on 2018 to 2023 that includes reports from 1990 onward. It counts 68 reports, of which 39 were concluded and confirmed, 5 not confirmed, 17 open and 7 unresolvable. The report writes that the figures are only a small part of actual reality and that there are undoubtedly many more cases.

  1. Since 2018 every diocesan bishop has completed a questionnaire for each report. In 2021 the bishops' conference decided to cover the situation from 1990 as well.

  1. The report writes that the statistics are only a small part of actual reality; undoubtedly there are many more cases of people who have not yet resolved to report their injury to the Church.
